This is my bike now. My church class surprised me with it last year. So I participated in the Austin Capitol 10k. This picture is from last year, this year I took it a little easer. This is what the Austin Statesman reported.
"Rich Byrd, a wheelchair competitor, was the first person to appear on 15th Street as it turned into Enfield Road. As he huffed and puffed on the long agonizing hill, he said to himself "C'mon, c'mon, push it." Another wheelchair racer, Clint Logue, took it easier, stopping and eating a doughnut a spectator gave him."
I doubled my time this year and still came in last place again.

Clint - I tried sharing the work with a guy in a wheel-chair bike (zat what they're called?) just last week - it was DANG windy, so we were drafting one another. I was surprised that drafting off him was as helpful as it was, I was sure that he was sitting too low to have an effect. And he was WAY more steady in speed than most conventional cyclists I've ridden with. Don't know if that was the bike or the rider, but when you're riding on a guy's wheel at 22 mph, you appreciate a steady speed!!!

BTW, we'd LOVE to have your inputs at CyclingGeeksUnite.blogspot.com! Not that I'm plugging another site here, but it's for cyclists, and now that I learn you're one, you need to be there ;-)

Happy, I worked in Round Rock while going to UT in the early 80’s. I do not remember any donuts but I do remember a painted rock.

Elisabeth, thanks. krispy kreme smell better than flowers.

Fried and sugar don't go together in my mind. Now, french fries are another story completely. I'm addicted to those. :-)

Clint, you can put Mayo on your chips when you come to our house ... not one of my favourite condiments for the taters, BUT that's what they do here.

(And we have Krispy Kremes here, very close by!)

You are a hero!

Interesting that you brought up wingstop. If Geoff were going to own a franchise, it would be that one. I would own a Pappadeaux.

No WingStop in Michigan. Should I drive to Indiana? (How good are their fries?)

I'm afraid there's no need to talk about mayo for my fries. All I want is fried potato and salt. :-)
