Good grief, Clint, you are freakin scarey!!!
Only in the middle of nowhere can you find an adult video sign,a Jesus sign, and a motel 8 all within 100 ft of each other.
So when do you start riding again? I say get it done! I really don't know what you are waiting for. Can't wait to see you.
I'm up for a Road Trip!
Clint you need to send me a map of the California part of your trip.
Wow...I have walked through that redwood tree...I have stood on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge, in the fog and I have been to The Grand Canyon...
Me, too, Bev. Except I think we went across the Golden Gate bridge, so I guess that means we were on both sides. No fog, though. :-) Good times.
Grand Canyon? What canyon? I can't see a canyon! There's a motorcycle in the way! Bridge, what bridge? I can't see a bridge - there's a motorcycle in the way! Now the signs I can see - hilarious!! Great memories Clint. Mostly of a motorcycle, not so much the scenery. I do believe you will ride again. Maybe a road trip to Michigan??
Moving sucks, the energy out of you. I may never be able to get back on the web after tonight. Well it was fun while it lasted.
Hey, buddy..when do we start the cabin.?.got my toolbelt ready.?.seriously, I want to do it..I can start next week! Wait, I'll be gone 20-23 (crap) but after that I got my hammer ready or whatever it is you people use when you build a cabin!!and...I guess we haven't talked for awhile and I've missed ya..thought I would give ya a break..hope you enjoyed it!
Moving does suck the energy right out of you. Especially if it's been a while since you last moved and you've got years of stuff to sift through, sort and pack. I get tired just thinking about moving.
But I thought being on the internet and interacting with all of us wonderful web friends was supposed to be invigorating....
LOVE the pics, Clint! You can't leave the web for good, your blog is too enjoyable and the addiction to blogging is too strong! It will call you back... I hear it beckoning your name.
I've been to Bakersfield (blondie 1, the rest of you 0!)
Blondie those of us from California call Bakersfield by it's proper name HELL!
AMEN!! Happytheman!! AMEN!!
The shortest route from San Diego to San Francisco is smack dab through the middle of Bakersfield - so I take the coast route, longer and certainly more beautiful and it takes me through my home town, San Luis Obispo!! [once you get through CA's second HELL - Los Angeles! LOL]
C'mon Clint, let a gal know where y'all have run off to. Please, please, please! [in my best begging voice ]
One time.... I left Alabama!
Actually, the farthest west I've been is Vegas...
I see we didn't catch the sarcastic pride in my comment :)
Did you ever ride that thing to Hawaii????
I caught the sarcasm, Blondie. "Three snaps, girl!"
great pictures and even greater memories

DON'T GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some reason this reminds me of the old Thrifty's drug store.
