I decided at lunch today to look at my dad's blog and this is the picture I get...very grusome! I'll have to rethink about coming back here again. :-) Just kidding.

But this picture was very hard to look at. It makes you think about not only the times you have been 'hurt' but also the times you have 'hurt' others. It also makes me think of all the times that my angel has been beaten down whenever I take the wrong path and let Satan win in my life.

okay the only reason why I haven't commented is because those big eyed girl drawings just creep me out..remember when like those paintings were popular..
it looks like she's having a rough time..

Did anyone read the verse under the angel? It's really rather beautiful. I guess I never thought about how Jesus felt as He walked on this earth He created. "For all it's faults, I have so loved this world and found it beautiful, despite it's scars." It makes me think He also loves this place He created and misses spending time with us here enjoying the beauty of it the way He originally intended to back in the Garden - before we hurt Him so.

wow my little girl commented, i guess i will have to blog about her latter, thanks baby.

thanks joyce, i agree the pic was kind of silly but the words were interesting. as much as this world sucks it has a way of holding on to us. if you click on the word Hurt Johnny Cash has a haunting song as well. And you can also read the words better.

Clint - I clicked on the picture and read the poem. It was so perfect for today. Yesterday we found out that my friend is dying and has only a short time to live. The poem reminds me so much of her. I got to visit her yesterday for the first time in over two weeks, because she had not been able to have visitors. Today we were talking about things we could put on her memorial program for the funeral and there was this poem. She has fought so hard, and the first thing she told me yesterday was, "I thought I could fight this and win, but the doctor told me I can't beat it." I just looked past the picture.
