but then again - nothing changes if nothing changes.

I used to be terrified of change. It made me crazy. Now I see the value in it - to some degree anyway. I see how it grows us and, well, changes us. I still hate it when it moves us though.

Guess I'm the odd duck here. I love change. It shakes the dust out of the mind, and off the sandals. It brings challenges and new people to meet. Change shows the very diversity of God. We poor human beings can't possibly absorb all He is and all He has for us in one felled swoop. So God gives us change, gives us small doses of His magnitude and magnificence in small pieces that we call change, be it that it brings happiness and joy, or at times, painful tragedies. But it all mirrors God and His great mercies in all that occurs in our lives. At least, imho. :)

Hello Clint with a "C"! This is Brad Stevens, Rachel Pleasant's father. We are in Michigan to celebrate Abbey's birthday this weekend and I am on Rachel and Klint's computer and just found your website! I have always appreciated your comments and your willingness to share your life with others. I have bookmarked your blog and sent it to my home computer for future reference!

The only constant in life is change; but, change has more to do with the nature of God than we suspect. I don't think heaven will be static but dynamic. Relationships are always in a state of flux. They either get better or deteriorate. Heaven may be a one way street where things will always improve. That is why we need eternity!

May the Lord bless you and your family this coming year! God bless,
