If you only had one life to live, would it be worth living?

Clint..honestly, I have spent alot of time and energy living my life the way I thought others thought I should be living..I am begining to feel more honest now with my life and in the middle of some real pain it feels really good to live a life of integrity. I'm going for it, buddy.

Wow, Clint great question, I think?
If you had only one tooth would it be worth nashing? If you had only one meal would it be worth eating? If you had only one word would it be worth speaking? If you had only one question would it be worth asking? If I had only one answer would it be true?

Yikes this is getting out of hand!!

This is a good question - and I've been on either side of it a number of times. If there was no hope of resurrection, and this is all there was, I dunno. I'd like to say, "sure, why not - what the hell?" But there have been times when I definitely wondered "what's the point of it all?"

Not cool for a preacher (soon to be ex preacher) to say, I'm sure, but true nonetheless.

Great thought - as often (as opposed to always ;-)

Man, I miss you. Have I told you I've named your legs? Jakin and Boaz. Look it up. I Kings 7:21.

21 He erected the pillars at the portico of the temple. The pillar to the south he named Jakin and the one to the north Boaz.

Jakin probably means he establishes.

Boaz probably means in him is strength .

2 Corinthians 12:9
9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

good names candy, in my weak legs God will establish his strength and I will stand with him. Love and miss you.
